Summary
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization. Develop new business by contacting referrals provided by bank partners and developing and maintaining an active pipeline via cold outreach.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain an active sales funnel via cold outbound prospecting, warm referrals from bank partners, and self-sourced leads.
- Log and track all activities in the CRM daily.
- Work closely with bank partners to keep them updated on their referrals.
- Work with bank partners to educate them on merchant services and increase referral volume.
Additional Responsibilities
- Occasionally travel to bank partners to represent Basys.
- Modify and adjust sales processes as needed, with input from management.
- Self source new merchants
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient speaker of Spanish
- Ability to work comfortably and stay organized in a fast-paced, high call volume environment
- This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to one day per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, or other related fields is preferred
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience selling, opening new accounts, and relationship management preferred
- A proven track record of success
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency working inside of a CRM
